Rwanda We Want held a conference on the role of young Leaders in re-building a post Genocide nation and dealing with its consequences

Previously on 7th June 2017, Rwanda We Want held a conference on the role of young Leaders in re-building a post Genocide nation and dealing with its consequences at E.S Gasiza in Rulindo District. Distinguished guests including Mr. Clever GATABAZI who’s in charge of memory and commemoration at CNLG, Professor Eugene RUTEMBESA a researcher in University of Rwanda and Psychologist as well as Ms Marie Claire GASANGANWA, The vice mayor of Rulindo District in charge of social affairs.

All these honorables made presentations in the conference explaining how the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994 was prepared and perpetrated and also highlighted the consequences it left and how the post-Genocide will deal with those consequences. They also explained that the youth has the power of building and at the same time destroying. Therefore those experts called the youth have the task of using that strength they have in re-building this nation, different officials of Rulindo District were present including the director of education Emmanuel ibangaryayo.
